Victims of domestic abuse are scared. Their
children are scared. Together, they are struggling to survive.
Planning a vacation is simply not something these families even
consider. Allowing the thought to enter their minds will only lead
to new disappointments.
But vacation is exactly what they need. An opportunity to form
just one memory that can change a life. Their lives.
We understand that this is a chance for these children to form strong, powerful, positive memories that show them that there is something better. There is peace. They can choose to break the pattern of violence that they have witnessed in their household. They can choose to work hard to one day provide this peace to their own families.
And that they will work hard to do what it takes to get there.
